I'm getting a new tranny b/c mine is going.I have a Si and i want to make sure that i get a Si tranny. The guy says on the phone that it's a Si. Is there any difference that you can see between a DX and a Si tranny ? Are the holes for the starter different sizes ? I want to make sure it is a Si tranny before i put it in.

on the side of the tranny, it is stamped PL3 with a circle around it. its small, if i had a picture id show it to you cause my Si tranny is out of the car right now

Is it by the top, bottom, side, back front ? About how big inch, 1/2 inch ?
